About the Role

IGT PlayDigital is actively looking for a Senior Front End Developer. This position will be responsible for developing and supporting legacy apps and systems, as well as brand new products for our Sports & Digital Betting division. We are looking for a candidate based in Rhode Island.

What You\'ll Do

• The senior front-end developer will be responsible for development of the front-end technology stack for our Sports Betting solutions for the global market including desktop and mobile web, UI for hybrid mobile apps etc.
• Collaborate with product team, development teams, and other stakeholders to build new user features and drive our front-end technology stack forward
• Participate in all phases of software delivery process from analysis, development, testing to production support
• Ensure the technical feasibility of customer requirements and optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
• Assist and support less experienced developers within a team

About You

The ideal candidate will possess:

• 5+ years of development experience
• Excellent knowledge of: JavaScript, Vue.js, and overall web technologies
• Good knowledge of HTML and CSS
• Knowledge of OOP concepts (C# or Java experience preferred)
• Knowledge of HTTP protocol
• Experience working with: REST services, NodeJS, Web Pack, unit/integration testing and CI/CD
• Knowledge of application security standards and best practices
• Good understanding of source control tools such as GIT and/or TFS
• Understanding fundamentals of software architecture
• Understanding SQL and/or NoSQL databases concepts would be considered a plus
• Degree in computer science or equivalent

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $58,000- $123,000. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.

Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses .
