Senior Food Scientist

to lead the development and optimization of cutting-edge nutritional products from concept to commercialization. This role is perfect for a creative, detail-oriented scientist who thrives on innovation, quality, and clinical impact.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, optimize, and scale nutritional beverage and powder formulations to meet sensory, nutritional, and stability goals. Collaborate with Medical Nutrition, Marketing, and Sales teams to align product development with business objectives and patient needs. Research and evaluate new ingredients and explore novel opportunities in medical nutrition. Provide scientific and technical expertise to support leadership in product and clinical development initiatives. Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to source high-quality ingredients that meet product specifications. Represent the company at scientific meetings, conferences, and industry events. Ensure protection of intellectual property for new products, formulations, and processes. Comply with all GMP, food safety, and workplace safety standards.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Nutrition, or a related field (Master's preferred; PhD or PharmD a plus). 5+ years of product development experience from concept to commercialization in nutrition, food, beverage, supplement, nutraceutical, or biotech industries. Experience in both basic and applied R&D, preferably in small to mid-sized nutrition, food, beverage, or biotech companies. Strong expertise in food science, ingredient interactions, and process impact on nutrient stability. Knowledge of food safety regulations, aseptic processing, and quality standards. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
