Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a Senior Facilities Planning Engineer to join our team in our Springfield Assembly Plant. This role will support our manufacturing operations. Responsibilities:

• Drive energy improvements throughout the plants
• Update blueprints and plan projects to complete assigned tasks, and coordinate and follow up proper execution of assigned work
• Schedule work tasks with Contractor and Maintenance in a team-oriented environment and perform initial evaluations of building systems and distribute work assignments
• Evaluate Contractors\xe2\x80\x99 individual performances to ensure quality operations, and investigate any accidents caused by Contractors, and prepare relevant reports
• Work with the Maintenance Planners to evaluate needs for all work requests\xe2\x80\x94both scheduled and unscheduled\xe2\x80\x94as well as any special projects that arise
• Coordinate and follow up on preventative maintenance on refrigeration units, plumbing, electrical, overhead doors, ground, roof, and any other mechanical systems related to the facilities
• Instruct Contractors in how to dispose of hazardous materials in accordance with established OSHA and Navistar Safety Department procedures
• Document Facilities Equipment in CMMS
• Scheduling of routine Facilities Maintenance
• Internal and external SOW for relevant SAP
• Design of new processes or procedures across the facilities
• Oversight of improvement or installation projects
• Analysis of potential improvements
• Troubleshooting any issues with the plant utility systems

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree
• At least 2 years of facilities planning/engineering experience

OR

• Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree

OR

• At least 4 years of facilities planning/engineering experience

Additional Requirements:

• Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Navistar does not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status)

• Experience in Project Management
• Experience with People Management
• Written and verbal communication/documentation
• Manual 2D sketching skills or AutoCAD
• Creative, out of the box thinker, ability to show creativity and be on trend within corporate guidelines
• Extremely organized and able to prioritize and multitask
• Strong conceptual, layout, and presentation skills \xe2\x80\x93 be able to stand behind your work and your design choices while being flexible to pivot direction when needed
• Works well in an interdisciplinary, fast-paced environment
