Job Summary:



Lead and provide professional engineering expertise in a core facility in process design, training, quality assurance, and developmental activities.



Job-Specific Responsibilities:



Oversee and lead all the activities (maintenance, training, and process development) in the photolithography area, and especially in the advanced Photolithography. Supervise the photo engineer/technician on this technical area.


Lead the process development and technology innovation of advanced lithography (3D lithography, direct laser writing). Support and supervise the REU/REV student/interns.


Participate research projects of Harvard PI groups, provide the process development assistance, technical solutions, and support broad and challenge research application.


In charge of all the nanofabrication backend and packaging processes.


Establish and supervise the process design facility, including modeling software, Nanofab process simulation and integration.



Working Conditions:



May be required to work in a cleanroom, chemical, or measurement laboratory environments May be exposed to toxic, radioactive, or carcinogenic materials including compressed gases, acids, solvents, vacuum pump oils, and other chemicals May be required to work nights and weekends


Physical Requirements:



Lifting (up to approximately 50 pounds), bending, and other physical exertion Standing and/or sitting for extended periods


Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:



Bachelor's degree in an engineering or related field and a minimum of five years' relevant work experience, or A minimum of nine years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience

Excellent communication skills are required. The candidate should be self-motivated with a strong desire to acquire on-the-job training, to succeed, and to develop intellectual and practical professional skills. Demonstrated ability to work well in teams is essential.
