Job Title: Senior Director, Treasury Management - Corporate and Municipal Banking

What you\'ll do: We are seeking an experienced, business development-focused individual who is passionate about originating deposits, increasing fee income and client adoption rate for the Payables and Receivables Product Suite to join the Western Alliance Bank Corporate & Muni Banking Team as a Senior Director. The Senior Director is expected to develop and run strategy in conjunction with the loan product teams as the Subject Matter Expert in treasury management products and services.

This role is expected to initially will work with Corporate & Municipal bankers to collaborate on client demonstrations and client presentations. The Senior Director will have a large book of existing loan clients to launch from and have support from other TM leaders across WAL\xe2\x80\x99s Specialty Lending & TM divisions. Growth tracks to organizational TM leadership is available.

What we are looking for:

Become the subject matter sales expert on the broad capabilities WAL has to offer its target markets; Payable/Receivables Product Suite, Escrow, Trustee, etc. Understand the full range of reasons \xe2\x80\x9cwhy\xe2\x80\x9d a customer would purchase these products and understand the entire sales lifecycle, implementation, technology, operational, legal, compliance, and customer service processes and issues for a successful client experience.

Prospect existing borrowers and prospects to drive sales growth. Provide training, and assist with client demos, pricing, and benefits to internal TM Sales Team, clients, and prospects to support sales growth.

Provide feedback from customers and sales teams on the product experience and capabilities, so that the product management teams can adjust as necessary to grow the business.

Leverage customer presentation materials, working with Sales, Marketing, Legal, and Compliance areas to present WAB products in the best light for revenue growth.

Help to maintain and monitor sales pipelines for the products assigned. Working with the Sales teams to ensure accuracy and customer follow-up.

Defining, monitoring, and tracking KPIs and developing concrete points of view on insights to present to leadership. Engage with Sales Team to define the business case and concept validation, as well as to gain insights and identify customer needs. Work collaboratively to develop and deliver training to other sales leaders on product features, benefits, and value proposition.

Appropriately assess risk exposure and controls needed for all new clients on this product.

Market incentive plan based on sales growth.

Provides supervision to and directs the activities of their staff; performs supervisory tasks such as performance appraisals, corrective actions, and interviewing candidates for employment; develops work schedules; provides necessary training and coaching

Qualifications

Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree required. MBA or advanced degree in Finance preferred. 10 years of experience in banking, financial services, accounting, or technology preferred. An equivalent combination of experience and education is acceptable.

5-10 years of experience in Treasury Management Sales or Support, and/or Product Management/Development background strongly preferred, with the ability to concurrently manage and assess broad strategies and execute against multiple priorities.

Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Detail-oriented, with the ability to influence, collaborate and communicate across all levels and lines of business, internal resources, and external vendors.

Ability to work in a rapid, potentially changing environment. Demonstrate strong analytical skills and the ability to handle ambiguous and complex situations.
