Reporting directly into the VP of Finance with constant communication with the Senior Leaders, the Senior Director of Finance will create and execute key FP&A activities for an entire $1B business unit. This role will also work cross-functionally with various departments such as sales, marketing, supply chain and operations to align with the overall financial goals of the organization.

• Develop and implement financial strategies to support business objectives.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Provide strategic guidance to senior leadership on financial matters.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize resource allocation.
• Lead and mentor the accounting and finance team to achieve departmental goals.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance financial operations.

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience in financial leadership roles within the manufacturing or cpg industry.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
• Proficiency in financial software and tools.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.

I'm partnering with a rapidly growing, multi-billion-dollar food manufacturer in Downtown Chicago. There are 20 manufacturing sites across NA and 15 innovation labs that are constantly developing new products within the food commodities space.
