JOB TITLE: Senior Director, Standards and Process

SUPERVISION RECEIVED:

Senior Director, Application Portfolio

JOB SUMMARY:

The Sr. Director, Standards and Process is a leadership position responsible for the oversight and management of the ambulatory facilities\xe2\x80\x99 (ASCs and clinics) application portfolio. Management of the portfolio includes the following: rationalization, standardization, life cycle, interfacing, performance, and maintenance. This role will be responsible to plan, initiate, and execute activities and actions designed to support the department\xe2\x80\x99s strategy and the organization\xe2\x80\x99s strategic imperatives. Process improvement using data and performance measurement are an expectation of this role. This leader will be responsible for developing and maturing a high-performance team that delivers customer satisfaction and exceptional IT service and support.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: * Leadership

  • Management of:
  • Customer experience;
  • ASC Applications Team;
  • Clinical Informatics (perioperative);
  • Promoting Interoperability initiatives;
  • Driving quality standards within IT;
  • Application Portfolio;
  • Vendor relationships;
  • Single point-of-contact for ambulatory center acquisitions ensuring a smooth transition to support;
  • Innovation liaison
Added responsibilities include the following: daily IT operations, application support, SOX compliance, software and hardware upgrades, change management, escalation management, downtime operations management, department goals, results and outcomes driven meetings, standardization, documentation of policy and procedures, and vendor invoice management to support department budget.

EDUCATION/REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree required; Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree preferred.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
  • Proficient with MS Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
  • Strong verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks
  • Ability to work independently or in collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams
  • Possesses business acumen to work at all levels of the organization
  • Has attained prior healthcare operations experience related to hospitals, surgery centers or physician offices (including knowledge of computer systems)
  • Must possess 5 years of prior supervisory experience
  • Experience working under SOX compliance guidelines & regulations is preferred
  • Basic knowledge of accounting procedures and medical terminology required
  • Ability to function efficiently in stressful work environments
  • Maintains regular attendance habits, follows directions, takes initiative
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision to accomplish the task
  • Ability to manage frequent interruptions that result in having to re-evaluate priorities.
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet critical functions of the role (estimated up to 50%)
