The Senior Director of Health Management Consulting will oversee Patient Provider Research Solutions (PPRS) consulting content strategy requirements for client relationships, contract research, proactively identify clinical solutions, and manage clinical resource allocation (e.g. virtual outreach care team) for the PPRS Business. They will contribute content development to client proposals and RFPs. They will work with executive clinical leadership and Product Strategy POD teams in developing a client ready strategy related to the delivery of proactive consultative services and driving clinical solutions, including deployment of appropriate use of research products for patient identification and diagnosis, guidelines, adherence and custom client requests for novel clinical products / services. The Sr. Director is accountable for direct management of a staff of consultants, as well as other personnel, and shares ownership and accountability for client relationships, retention, and satisfaction levels within their segment.
You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.
Primary Responsibilities:

  • Determine and manage PPRS specific clinical and content consulting resource allocation and assignment
  • Provide routine reporting to clinical leadership regarding milestone attainment and any significant issues within their segment that may be impacting overall team performance
  • Maintains understanding of individual client contracts and ensures proper execution of all clinical deliverables specific to those agreements
  • Develop department goals and ensure departmental execution
  • Contribute to manuscript and poster development for specific client contracts
  • Work with the Clinical Leadership Team to establish strategic clinical goals and objectives
  • Provide routine reporting to the Senior Leadership Team regarding milestone attainment and any significant issues within the segment that may be impacting overall performance
  • Collaborate with clients to establish achievable but aggressive clinical PPRS program goals, implementation of patient identification and stratification programs, improvement in medication adherence rates, improvements in therapy gaps for key chronic disease states, and quality HEDIS & NCQA measures
  • Formulates and delivers clinically-sound and fiscally responsible recommendations to clients based on industry trends, new research, internal policies
  • Create and maintain departmental policies and procedures
  • Create action plans to address any client satisfaction concerns
  • Provides mentoring / coaching for Health Management Consultants in order to enhance employee engagement, promote professional development and maintain high levels of staff satisfaction
  • Assist in the recruitment, on-boarding and mentoring of new Consultant team members
  • Ensure the Health Management Consultants are delivering on client satisfaction, client retention, and trend management
  • Stays aware of and provides clinical market intelligence to clients
  • Provides education for clients, pharmacists, members and physicians per contractual requirements
  • Serves a key resource for new clinical product/service ideation and liaison to clinical product development / management teams to create new or enhance existing programs
  • Identifies and collaborates with client management leadership on clinical renewal strategies
  • Drives enhanced client relationships through senior-level strategic discussions and planning which addresses issues of highest priority for the client
  • Consistently look at existing processes, methods, and materials to find opportunities for improvement
  • Maintains strategic relationships with client leaders, key stakeholders, and brokers/consultants
  • Supports sales and marketing including participating in RFP/finalist activities as needed based on current standard operating procedure
  • Serves as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for other departments on Health Management Consulting-specific issues/inquiries
  • Lead departmental and interdepartmental workgroup and project work

Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of client facing or clinical account management experience with 4+ years of providing formal client presentations
  • 3+ years in a leadership position
  • 3+ years of provider and/or health plan experience or pharma equivalent
  • Proven basic competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook
  • Proven excellent written, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated solid clinical and analytic background
  • Demonstrated solid presentation skills and experience
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple clients simultaneously
  • Ability and willingness to travel (up to 25%)

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $132,200 to $226,600 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
