Job Description


:

KLDiscovery, a leading global provider of electronic discovery, information governance and data recovery services, is currently seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer for our Azure Automation team.

The right person will be an experienced DevOps Engineer with prior exposure to Microsoft Azure. They will be working closely with a team focused on expanding and improving the automated operational practices in our cloud environment. This will include the use of Terraform, Azure DevOps, and Ansible.

Remote, work from home opportunity.

Responsibilities

  • Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for our flagship product in Microsoft Azure
  • Deploy resources to support development teams in non-production environments
  • Deploy and manage production resources
  • Develop automated processes and procedures for initial environment configuration
  • Lead technical and design discussions with peers to plan out solutions
  • Mentor team members on technical topics
  • Utilize, communicate and enforce coding standards
  • Seek and participate in personal development opportunities to maintain a detailed knowledge of industry standards, engineering best practices, and business needs
  • Provide Technical Support - bug fixes and implement enhancements to applications in Production within defined SLA
  • Work in a team or with multiple organizational departments in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment
  • Adhere to development processes and workflows
Qualifications
  • BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related scientific field preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in a related field, including:
  • Systems Administration
  • Cloud Engineer
  • DevOps Engineer
  • Experience working in Linux environments
  • Experience working in an automation-driven infrastructure, including concepts like Infrastructure as Code
  • Experience with the following tools and technologies is essential:
  • Azure Cloud
  • Terraform
  • Ansible
  • Azure DevOps
  • Experience with version control systems and work management systems such as Azure DevOps or other tools preferred
  • Experience with Docker or other container technologies is a plus but not required
  • Capable of problem identification and resolutions
  • Ability to learn from others and adapt to standards
  • Ability to express complex technical concepts effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Knowledge of client/server and internet systems architectures
  • Ability to work in a team or with multiple organizational departments in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment
  • Ability to pass a background check upon offer
