The Position:




This is a position with the Design Technologies team at Hazen and Sawyer. The Design Technology team is part of Hazen's larger Information Technology team and specializes in design, construction, and data-driven software and systems (Autodesk, Bentley, ESRI, Bluebeam, and more). This position sits at the intersection of technology design, construction, and operations with a focus on building design software and systems. These include Revit, Plant 3D, Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), Content Catalog, Forma, Assemble, Tandem and more.

This role will be responsible for the implementation, support, administration, maintenance, and training of Hazen's building design software and systems, and play a key role in the evaluation, and development of new workflows and services.


You will collaborate with the BIM Discipline Group to maintain and support Hazen's software, standards, and workflows related to building design. In addition to the BIM discipline, there will be opportunities to work with Asset Management, GIS, QAQC, Cost Estimating, and Construction Management disciplines to standardize software and systems, and enhance overall project lifecycles.


The ideal candidate will be proficient in Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD. Experience with Civil 3D or Plant 3D is preferred. Experience administering ACC, BIM 360, ProjectWise or similar is required. Candidates should be willing to learn and develop skills specific to Windows OS, Microsoft Office, Registry Editor, PowerShell, and general IT Information. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are required.

Job Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:



Administer, maintain, and support Autodesk software and systems Provide internal user support via Helpdesk Develop documentation and training for new and existing workflows. Assist with maintaining and supporting Hazen's custom CAD environment. Perform R&D/evaluation of new software and services. Work with internal Autodesk development group to test newly developed features. Work with internal discipline groups to develop/evolve standards and workflows. Provide company-wide project support (set up, training, workflow review, etc.) Conduct live training as needed. Occasional travel required.

Required Qualifications:



A minimum of 5 years of experience managing design technology software and systems. A minimum of 5 years of design experience utilizing Revit. Working knowledge of AutoCAD or Plant 3D. Administration experience with ACC/BIM 360, ProjectWise, or equivalent. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:



Design experience in the Water industry. Technical proficiency with Windows OS, File Management, and Registry Editor Experience using Plant 3D or Civil 3D
