Senior Database Architect **TS/SCI Clearance Required**

Your future duties and responsibilities

• Develop data management strategies ensuring high availability
• Lead large-scale data management, warehousing, or analytics projects
• Demonstrate industry leadership in the fields of database design and development, data warehousing, or data sciences
• Provide technical guidance and leadership to the development team
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and design data models that meet those requirements
• Develop and maintain data dictionaries and metadata repositories
• Optimize database performance through appropriate database design and configuration
• Develop, implement, and maintain backup and recovery procedures
• Ensure data security and data privacy by following industry best practices
• Keep abreast of new and emerging technologies in the field of data management

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

• At least 8 years of total experience in data management
• 5 years of experience in data management, data warehousing, database administration, and data access solutions
• 3 years of back-end development and/or database management in support of a custom developed application
• Solid knowledge of data mining and acquisitions, database architecture, database administration, data archive recovery, database structure systems design, data modeling, database analysis, and metadata repository creation
• Experience leading large-scale data management, warehousing, or analytics projects
• Demonstrated industry leadership in the fields of database design and development, data warehousing, or data sciences
• Strong communication and data presentation skills
• Final TS/SCI security clearance

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set level, experience and training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $119,500 - $180,800"
