A Day in the Life Exciting opportunity for an experienced Computational Cardiac Physiology Modeling Engineer to Perform theoretical and finite element analysis (FEA) to predict cardiac system behavior under in vivo and in vitro types of load conditions. This individual will develop technical solutions to complex problems that require the regular use of creativity.
Provide highly specialized computational modeling expertise in design and development of innovative products to treat cardiac diseases. The emphasis will be on modelling either cardiac electrophysiological systems to understand pacing and defibrillation therapies or cardiac mechanics to predict forces, stresses and strains within the heart and medical devices subjected to in vivo load conditions. Bearing in mind first principles, the Senior Computational Modeling Engineer will understand business requirements, formulate a modeling approach that will address those requirements, independently carry out the modeling activities and provide concise communication of the results through technical reports and presentations.
