Job Summary:

We are looking for a Senior Cloud Solutions Architect / Technical who can deliver Zero Trust solutions for large-scale federal government programs. This position requires someone who can work as part of a team as well as engage directly with our clients, to understand their needs, and independently deliver tailored cloud solutions -- all while staying in sync with Ridge IT's broader technical architecture and standards.

What You'll Do

Serve as a self-directed technical lead, capable of owning small-to-medium scale deliverables across a large, multi-stakeholder environment. Act as the primary technical liaison to our clients, gathering requirements, defining solutions, and delivering results with minimal handholding Create, manage, and deploy custom solutions that deeply integrate with Okta Workforce Identity and Okta Identity Governance IDaaS cloud services. Developing in-depth knowledge of the Okta platform and attaining expert certifications in Okta are required of this position. Also, I believe the description should show a bit more focus on the documentation aspect of the role Drafting, editing, and maintaining customer / end-user documentation is a necessary aspect of this role. Must be able to produce professional, accurate, and thorough documents suitable for distribution to non-technical and/or executive audiences. Those are petty important aspects of the role, sorry I missed them on the first pass. Work closely with our RidgeIT Cyber technical team to understand, and collaborate on, multiple parallel workstreams being developed for our client to ensure consistency in design, security, and delivery practices Architect and deploy secure, scalable cloud infrastructure using AWS and/or Azure Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform Lead implementation and integration of client owned applications and users with Okta and other Zero Trust solutions Build and maintain automation workflows and pipelines using GitHub and Azure DevOps Produce and manage infrastructure/automation solutions using Python, JSON, and PowerShell Collaborate within an Agile team, using Jira to track tasks, backlogs, and delivery milestones Ensure all solutions align with federal compliance standards such as FedRAMP, NIST, and agency-specific requirements Support and mentor junior engineers where appropriate

Thrives in loosely defined environments and takes pride in figuring things out without waiting for step-by-step instructions Can lead small-to-medium sized technical projects end-to-end -- including discovery, requirements gathering, design, implementation, and documentation Brings a consultative mindset and is confident working directly with our clients to define and deliver solutions Can manage and prioritize multiple, concurrent efforts, where dozens of related but distinct deliverables are moving in parallel Functions independently, but knows when to loop in others, escalate, or sync with the team to maintain alignment Understands the balance between technical excellence and client needs, and can deliver with both in mind Has the discipline to self-manage workload and timelines, while remaining flexible in a fast-paced environment You need to be capable of running your own small engagements from discovery to delivery.

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience in IT with a focus on cloud, infrastructure, or cybersecurity projects Strong hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud environments Expert-level skills coding Automated solutions (Python, PowerShell) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles (Terraform) Experience implementing no-code workflows (Okta Workflows, Azure Logic Apps, PowerAutomate, etc) Understanding of principles of Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) (Okta, Azure Active Directory, etc.) SDLC Experience with GitHub, Azure DevOps, etc. to develop and manage a codebase for repeatable/automated tasks

Pay: $100,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
