As Ninety continues to experience exceptional growth, we are looking to bring on a Senior Writer-Researcher who will create \xe2\x80\x93 research, write, edit, and build \xe2\x80\x93 a library of long-form education content focused on Ninety\xe2\x80\x99s core concepts, tools, and disciplines. The Senior Writer-Researcher will report to Ninety\xe2\x80\x99s Managing Editor.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced writer and researcher to become an integral part of our team. Working closely with Ninety\'s founder, Managing Editor, and SMEs, the person in this seat is expected to learn, process, and ultimately convey core concepts associated with the most popular Business Operating System (BOS) in an approachable manner, often through the vehicle of blogs, and website pages, but also other forms of copy including but not limited to educational briefs and guides. The senior writer will become an SME and thought leader in their own right and will cross-collaborate with our Marketing team.

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• Deep experience in a senior writing capacity with a focus on business and entrepreneurship, preferably with a knowledge of or background in Business Operating Systems (BOS).
• Ability to pivot to different writing styles throughout the week and month, from marketing to narrative and education-oriented
• Experience conveying complex principles in an approachable, human manner
• Patience working through multiple rounds of edits and balancing multiple long and short-form writing projects and deadlines simultaneously
• Ability to master the space to become an SME in own right
• Excellent interviewing, communication, and task management skills
• Experience in, or are excited to work in an early-stage environment
• Ability to self-manage time and work independently in a fully remote environment

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Interview and work closely with SMEs to curate, research, and write blogs (both long and short-form) and other forms of marketing copy, as well as educational guides, shorter-form briefs, and other material
• Methodically research what truly matters to small and midsize business leaders, review data, academic journals, and other materials to support writings and generally stay on top of latest industry trends
• Edit and/or update pre-existing content and source material for publication
• Collaborate with both marketing and education teams, as well as other departments as needed to advance content goals
• Collaborate with the creative team to conceptualize visual aids and infographics to support material
• Work conscientiously to meet publishing deadlines throughout the week and month.
• Master and adhere to branded style, voice and tone, and content guidelines

• A deep understanding of how the concepts, tools, and disciplines housed in our platform help leaders build great companies and enable their employees to focus, align and thrive.
• Create best-in-class content that captivates, informs and delights readers in a human, relatable fashion.
• Content is delivered within agreed-upon deadlines and production schedules.
• Become a Subject Matter Expert and thought leader in Ninety who is comfortable sharing insights publicly/via social media platforms.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 8-10 years of experience as a senior writer and researcher in the field of business or marketing within the business and entrepreneurship verticals
• Graduate degree in Business, Journalism, or a related field

• Senior writing fellowship background considered
• A sharable portfolio of relevant work required
• Experience with or working knowledge of Business Operating Systems (BOS)
