As a Senior Behavioral Scientist - Pricing, you\'re responsible for informing product and business decisions to determine pricing, feature selection, and market sizing. You\'ll provide our data-hungry team with information to make confident product and market decisions centered on customer needs. work hours: 8am to 5pm

responsibilities:

  • Conduct quantitative research to determine pricing, feature selection/prioritization, and market opportunities for upcoming products and services
  • Lead experimental research through the entire research cycle (e.g. ideation, design, analysis, dissemination)
  • Work closely with product managers, marketers, and other researchers
  • Create frameworks, templates, and processes to scale product research capability across the team
  • Present actionable findings, engage partners in research, and influence them to take action
What are we looking for?
  • Applicants should have a PhD in consumer behavior, marketing, psychology, economics, or related quantitative discipline and 2+ years leading quantitative research in an industry setting.
  • Expertise in real estate / housing preferred.
  • Expertise in experimental design and quantitative methods to address business objectives, including discrete-choice modeling, advanced regression techniques, conjoint analysis, and survey design. Understand trade-offs between methods and when each are best suited to address a business problem.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Proficient with data analysis using R, Python, or similar, and experience with SQL
  • Experience translating research findings into product improvements and describing why they matter to customers and business
  • Experience presenting findings, engaging partners in research, and influencing them to take action
