DESCRIPTION OF WORK

This position serves as the lead applications developer within the Conservation and Environment IT Delivery Center. Our office supports various departments within the C&E Delivery Center. In this position, you will independently contribute to the development of web applications. You will also lead teams that maintain and develop enterprise-level application systems. Other duties include interacting with customers and contractors to determine business needs and provide solutions.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment.

Work hours are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch.

Hours of work are negotiable within the office\'s business hours.

Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) full-time but must be able to be onsite upon request. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The full-time telework status could change as per the Governor\'s discretion.

Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

One year as an Applications Developer 2 or Computer Programmer 4; or

Five years of information technology experience that includes three years of experience in applications development or applications maintenance; or

Three years of information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, and an associate\'s degree in any information technology field; or

One year of information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, and a bachelor\'s degree in any information technology field; or

An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Other Requirements:

This particular position also requires that applicants possess the following:

  • Three or more years of full-time experience with C#.NET.
  • Three or more years of full-time experience with ASP.NET Web API.
  • Three or more years of full-time experience with ASP.NET MVC.
