Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Self Storage Relief Manager and take charge of ensuring smooth daily operations across multiple storage facilities in the Boise, Meridian, Nampa, and Caldwell areas on Site-Manager's days off. Candidates should possess substantial direct customer service experience within a commercial or retail business environment, with significant engagement in direct customer interactions. In addition, this position demands specialized training and proficiency in maintaining business records, bookkeeping, or other independent administrative responsibilities, including strong mathematical and computational abilities and accurate handling of financial transactions. Proficiency in computer systems, standard software programs, electronic communication tools, and office equipment is essential for effective job performance. Employees must be prepared to interact professionally and courteously with individuals in stressful or demanding situations, demonstrating a cooperative attitude and positive interpersonal skills when engaging with customers, colleagues, and management staff. Competency in reading, writing, and speaking English is required for all job duties and customer interactions.

- Required to use proper and timely procedures for rentals and vacates of all storage units as well as with all customers which includes:

o Proper and timely answering of phones

o Accurately completing a lease and entering into computer software program

o Opening and Closing Procedures

o Updating Gate Data and Back-up procedures for program

o Security Check processing

o Repair Orders, Vacancy List, Standard Reports processing

o Posting of Daily Mail - Rtn Mail, Rtn Checks, Change of Address

o Processing Deposit and Balancing Till-beginning and end of Shift

o Filing & Alphabetizing of Leases

o Processing of payments & deposit refunds & Tenant Transfers

o Use of Master Letter File

o Compiling Leasing Packets

o Making Visa Auto Payments and Use of Machines

o Delinquent calling for 15-30 day delinquent accounts is required.

o Attending to minor outdoor repairs, site cleanliness, proper and adequate cleaning of units after vacating and other light outdoor maintenance is required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.50 - $17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 37 - 40 per week
