Overview

We are seeking a dependable and motivated Facility Manager to oversee the daily operations of our self storage property. This role is hands-on and blends customer service, administrative work, and property oversight. The Facility Manager is responsible for creating a safe, clean, and welcoming environment while efficiently managing both office and facility tasks.

The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily facility operations in accordance with company policies. Deliver excellent customer service for rentals, inquiries, payments, and account assistance. Complete regular property and unit inspections to ensure safety, cleanliness, and curb appeal. Maintain clean and orderly common areas, storage units, and facility grounds. Track and manage inventory of office and maintenance supplies and place orders as needed. Monitor local competitors and assist with pricing and rate updates. Recommend storage solutions and close rental agreements with prospective tenants. Prepare and process leases, accept payments, and maintain accurate records. Enforce lease terms, facility guidelines, and safety standards. Manage delinquent accounts and perform collection activities in a professional manner.

Qualifications

1-2 years of experience in self storage, property management, or a related field (preferred). Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and follow through. Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills. Basic math skills for payment handling and account management. Self-driven and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Experience with SiteLink or similar software (preferred). Background in collections or accounts receivable (a plus).

Schedule

Full-time position with 8-hour shifts. Weekday and weekend availability required. Morning and daytime shifts preferred.

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
