We are seeking a friendly and motivated Self Storage Associate to join our team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, managing storage unit rentals, and maintaining the facility's appearance. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, sales experience, and the ability to handle various retail and administrative tasks efficiently. Bilingual abilities are a plus to assist a diverse customer base. Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist with storage unit rentals and inquiries Handle POS transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties Promote storage unit features through product demos and upselling techniques Maintain cleanliness and organization of the facility, including merchandising and stocking supplies Manage customer accounts, including billing, payments, and account updates Provide exceptional customer service via phone etiquette and in-person interactions Assist with product demonstrations to educate customers on storage options Support retail sales efforts by promoting additional services or products when appropriate Supervise or assist in supervising team members as needed, ensuring smooth daily operations

Qualifications

Previous experience in retail sales, grocery store, or customer service roles preferred Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering, and basic math skills required Strong communication skills and professional phone etiquette Bilingual abilities are advantageous for serving a diverse clientele Experience with upselling, merchandising, stock management, and product demos is a plus Supervising experience is desirable but not mandatory Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly Excellent customer service orientation with a friendly attitude Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
