Job Description

The McGregor Company serves growers in Washington, Idaho and Oregon with the seed, crop inputs, equipment, services, research, and advice needed to raise healthy, sustainable crops.

Are you a detail-oriented, mechanically inclined individual? If so, we are looking for an attentive person to run, maintain, and coordinate the movement of product in our facility's warehouse.

Assist in the day to day handling, maintenance and distribution of products (bulk and packaged) moving into and out of the seed warehouse.

Loading, blending and moving product, including loading and unloading trucks, bin clean downs, shoveling wheat, etc.

Stores product by designating storage areas; adjusting storage areas according to production and shipping requirements; updating location database.

Documents actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records; maintaining accurate accounting of inventory.

Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; keeps paperwork and work areas organized; keeps safety and stewardship a priority.

High School Diploma or GED Equivalent

Mechanical skills

Previous seed experience helpful

State Pesticide license (or ability to obtain within a specified amount of time)

Ability to lift over 50 lbs

Forklift operator (or ability to become a certified operator)

Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills

Dependable and organized

Team-oriented focus

Works well independently, while ensuring effective team communication

Valid Driver's License

o CDL is a beneficial but not required

Wage:

$18.00-24.00, depending on experience and licensing status

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
