Security / Door Staff (Bouncer)

Shifts:

Thursday & Saturday Nights (Evenings-Late)

Role Summary

Maintain a safe, controlled, and welcoming environment at Dubs Sports Lounge during peak nights. This role is about prevention first, control when needed, and professionalism at all times. You are the front line for safety, compliance, and crowd management.

Key Responsibilities

Check IDs thoroughly and enforce 21+ entry with zero tolerance for fakes Control entry, re-entry, and capacity limits Monitor guest behavior; identify intoxication or escalating situations early De-escalate conflicts quickly and professionally before they become problems Remove disruptive or non-compliant guests safely and legally when necessary Enforce house rules and Nevada liquor laws consistently Coordinate with bartenders, managers, and other security staff Monitor exits, restrooms, patio, and high-traffic areas Document incidents accurately and immediately when required Assist with closing procedures and safe dispersal of guests at end of night

Required Qualifications

Prior security, bouncer, military, or law enforcement experience preferred Strong situational awareness and calm under pressure Ability to de-escalate verbally before physical intervention Physically capable of standing for long periods and intervening if needed Clear communication skills and firm but respectful demeanor Must be reliable, punctual, and sober on duty Must understand or be willing to learn Nevada alcohol compliance laws

Certifications (Preferred / Required if Applicable)

Valid ID and proof of eligibility to work Guard card or equivalent (if required by local regulation) Alcohol compliance or TAM card a plus

No preventable incidents escalating out of control Clean ID checks with no compliance violations Guests feel safe, not intimidated Staff feels supported and protected Nights run smooth even when it's packed and loud

Pay

Competitive hourly rate based on experience Potential for consistent weekly shifts and long-term placement

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6.0 - 18.0 per week
