Reference AVS is one of the most respected entertainment and technology integration firms in the Midwest. The Security Technician at Reference AVS provides security systems technical services and support to residential and commercial customers.

Responsibilities

Install and service surveillance and card access equipment.

Perform all wiring tasks, including long-run cables and breakout to field components.

Install security head-end components such as cabinets and power supplies.

Test and commission field devices, including functional tests, camera aim/focus, and cable/network bandwidth testing.

Operate all required tools confidently, including power tools, man lifts, and ladders; work on rooftops as needed.

Qualifications

3+ years of Residential or Commercial Security System Experience (Preferred).

High school diploma or equivalent (Required).

Valid Driver's License (Required).

Ability to pass a background check in accordance with local laws/regulations.

Job Details

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour depending on experience

Schedule: Monday to Friday plus call

Work Location: Multiple locations
