Multicard, the Southwest's leading Identification and Security Integrator is looking for an
experienced
Security Integration Technician to join our Colorado team. Reporting to the Project Manager, this role will assist in the installation, service, and maintenance of commercial low-voltage security systems, including access control and video surveillance. You will work on job sites across Colorado (and occasionally neighboring states) and grow your skills under guidance.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in installation of low-voltage commercial security systems (access control, CCTV, intrusion)
Pull, terminate, and test all types of cabling (CAT, fiber, coax, etc.)
Mount, wire, and program field devices: readers, locks, strikes, panels, cameras
Troubleshoot wiring, device, and network issues
Document work (as-built drawings, wiring diagrams, configuration settings)
Assist in system commissioning, testing, and customer handoff
Provide excellent customer service, represent the company at client sites
Comply with safety protocols, maintain tidy workmanship
Take direction from Project Manager and escalate issues appropriately
Perform other duties as assigned (e.g. assist service group, help on special projects)
Minimum Qualifications & Skills
Technical / Experience
At least
1 year
of experience in commercial electronic security (or low-voltage integration environment)
Basic understanding of networking: TCP/IP, VLANs, subnetting, switches, PoE
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams
Proficient using digital tolls such as Office 65, Bluebeam, mobile apps
Familiarity with cabling tools: RJ45 crimper, cable strippers, coax prep, punch-down, cable testers
Physical / Other Requirements
Comfortable working from ladders, in ceilings, or in tight spaces
Able to lift and carry up to 50lbs
Valid driver's license, reliable transport, and auto insurance
Willing to work overtime as needed
Pass background check
Education & Communication
High School diploma or equivalent
Good problem-solving skills, ability to take directions and ask questions

This position will be based in Denver. This is a hybrid position that will be a mix of office and being in the field supporting our Colorado customers.
