Job Summary

We are seeking a highly responsible and vigilant Security Supervisor to oversee security operations at our facility. The ideal candidate will lead a team of security personnel, ensure the safety of personnel and property, and maintain a secure environment. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent judgment, and a comprehensive understanding of security protocols and emergency response procedures. Prior experience in law enforcement, military, or security industries is highly desirable. The Security Supervisor will play a crucial role in implementing loss prevention strategies and managing conflict situations effectively.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of security personnel to ensure effective coverage and response. Monitor and to observe and identify suspicious activities or security breaches. Conduct regular patrols of the premises to detect potential security risks or safety hazards. Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, or alarms, providing first aid or CPR if necessary. Manage conflict situations with professionalism, employing conflict management techniques to de-escalate issues. Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft, vandalism, or other criminal activities. Maintain detailed reports of incidents, patrols, and security activities for record-keeping and analysis. Enforce company policies and safety procedures in compliance with legal regulations and industry standards. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during investigations or emergencies as needed.

Qualifications

Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is preferred. Certifications in first aid, CPR, and conflict management are highly desirable. Strong knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV and loss prevention techniques. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively. Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle emergency situations professionally. Strong observational skills and attention to detail for monitoring premises effectively. Effective communication skills for reporting incidents and coordinating with team members and external agencies.

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 45 per week
