JOB SUMMARY: Work days Vary 11pm-7am

As a member of the Security Staff, you are responsible for the overall protection of St. Croix Casino Danbury operations and assets and are to be on the alert for any person(s) or situation(s) that would be contrary to gaming, state, or local laws or company rules and policy.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Native American preference. High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Must be at least 18 years of age. Written and verbal communication skills a must.

PHYSICAL, MENTAL, AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:

Must have knowledge of and be able to carry all assignments or stations i.e. (entrance, parking lot) as directed by supervisor. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Be capable of reviewing and /or writing reports as designated by supervisor and/or appointee. Must be able to provide basic first aid and CPR to guests/co-workers as needed (training available). Be willing to tolerate secondhand smoke in a smoke-filled environment.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCITONS:

Observe guests and take appropriate action if needed. Quell disturbances and fights. Take guests and co-workers into custody for gaming violations/arrests/86s. Act as witness in court cases. Train new co-workers. Check all property. Answer guest/co-worker questions and give directions. Parking lot and building security. Escort assets and fills. Escort undesirables, terminated employees off property and escort fire department and/or paramedic equipment/personnel. Provide basic first aid or CPR to guests/employees (training provided). Turn in/release lost items for security office. Look for walkouts from restaurants and take appropriate action. Make I.D. checks on guests/minors.

Be able to meet the attendance guidelines of the position, adhere to and enforce all departmental and company policies, and attend all mandatory training. Must comply with and enforce all safety policies and rules.

Be able to tolerate second hand smoke in a smoke-filled environment.
