Job Description
Windwalker Group is seeking a Security Manager with knowledge of the restaurant business as well as bar and liquor commission laws in Rhode Island for a position with Yellow Kittens Tavern. Due to the ferry schedule, manager may have to reside on site. Reasonable accomodations will be provided. The Security Manager will provide a variety of services, which may include, but is not limited to the following tasks:
- Interviews, hires, and trains security staff
- Oversees the daily workflow, schedules and assignments of security staff
- Prepares and conducts training for new hires and current staff
- Provides and/or implements security and security protocols
- Greeting and seating guests
- Assisting with the cash out and register procedures
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to pass a background check
- Ability to react quickly to a changing environment
- Advanced ability to respond to security breaches and threats
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent management and supervisory skills
4pm until midnight (or longer) Wednesday through Sunday
Seasonal starting May 17th tentatively ending October 15th, 2023
