What You'll Do:

• Provide excellent customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and promote a secure environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following protocols as trained and in accordance with location requirements.
• Communicate professionally and courteously with the public and staff while monitoring for security-related concerns on the premises.
• Document observations, incidents, and activities in accordance with company and client reporting procedures.
• Assist with emergency response activities and coordinate with Allied Universal management and/or local authorities as needed.
• Remain alert to surroundings during patrols to help to deter potential risks and report any unusual or suspicious activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
