As a Security Professional - Unarmed Healthcare Patrol in Elkton, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more.
As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents and provide a reassuring atmosphere throughout the location. By conducting routine patrols and remaining highly visible, you will support a welcoming environment while delivering exceptional customer service and communication in line with Allied Universal's values of teamwork, reliability, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote order.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or maintenance issues encountered during patrols to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control, visitor management, and enforcement of site rules and regulations as directed by Allied Universal and client site management.
• Support Allied Universal in maintaining a visible presence to help to deter potential disruptions and promote a welcoming atmosphere within the healthcare setting.
• Document incidents, activities, and observations in a timely and accurate manner according to Allied Universal protocols and client requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
