, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Security Officer with Allied Universal assigned to a dynamic tech and media location, you will manage access control responsibilities, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols and remain visible throughout assigned areas to foster a secure atmosphere. Our team values reliability, innovation, and a people-first approach, so strong customer service and communication skills are essential. This position requires a valid driver's license in the job state, as you may be required to drive while performing your duties.

What You'll Do:

Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and granting entry only to authorized personnel, visitors, and deliveries. Provide customer service by assisting individuals with inquiries and helping to communicate site-specific policies and procedures. Carry out security-related procedures tailored to the needs of a technology, media, and telecommunications environment. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report irregularities. Maintain detailed and accurate activity logs, incident reports, and access records in accordance with Allied Universal protocols. Support emergency response activities as needed, including assisting with evacuations or medical situations when appropriate. Collaborate with site management, employees, and Allied Universal team members to promote a secure and welcoming environment.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets or a rustic guard shack is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
