As a Security Professional - Media Facility Patrol in West Chester, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more.
As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech, media, and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service. Your visible presence and routine patrols contribute to a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets. You will interact professionally with individuals on site, assist with access control, and respond to situations with integrity and teamwork. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergencies when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including interior spaces and the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disruptions within the tech, media, and telecom environment.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding daily activities, incidents, and any security-related matters encountered during the shift.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal management and client representatives to address site-specific needs and support a secure environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Supervisory experience is required.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
