As a Security Professional - Government Transit Site Patrol in Brooklyn, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling designated locations within a government environment. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents, while you remain approachable and provide excellent customer service to all individuals you encounter. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or unusual occurrences during patrols.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and emergency personnel as needed.
• Document all incidents and activities according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits as required by site procedures.
• Support emergency response efforts by following established protocols and coordinating with local authorities when necessary.
• Remain attentive to surroundings and adapt to changing conditions throughout the shift.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid New York State Security Guard License is required.
• Ability to work at locations with limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets or a rustic guard shack is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
