As a Security Professional - Government Center - Overnight Shift n Brooklyn, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment for all occupants. You will conduct regular patrols, remain highly visible, and deliver exceptional customer service through clear communication and a professional presence. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a secure environment. Working environments and conditions may vary by site.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
