As a Security Professional - - Armed Retail Patrol - Overnight Shift in Leander, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more.

As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal in a retail environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned locations, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming atmosphere for employees, visitors, and customers. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors at retail locations by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, utilizing de-escalation techniques when possible.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail environment and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or activity within the premises.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Maintain a visible armed presence as required by the post profile to help to deter criminal activity and provide reassurance to clients and visitors.
• Communicate and collaborate with site management, law enforcement, and/or emergency personnel when necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have a minimum of three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
