What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations within the transportation environment in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor and control access points, verifying identification and authorization for entry as required within the transportation setting.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related incidents, or hazards to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or site management.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter disruptive behavior and provide reassurance to passengers and staff within the transportation location.
• Operate communication devices to coordinate with Allied Universal team members and local authorities as needed.
• Support emergency response efforts and participate in drills as required by site-specific protocols and Allied Universal procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• A valid law enforcement officer license is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
