As an Armed Patrol Officer, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related incidents.
• Monitor for unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior throughout the assigned area.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted activity and provide reassurance to the public and/or staff within the location.
• Follow all protocols related to the handling and use of assigned firearms in accordance with company policy and legal requirements.
• Complete reports and documentation related to incidents, patrols, and daily activities accurately and promptly.
• Work collaboratively with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders as required by site protocols.
• Remain alert and responsive to the environment, adapting to changing conditions as needed at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid concealed carry weapons permit is required.
• Graduation from a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent is required.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
