What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism when handling challenging scenarios.
• Perform regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter disruptive activity and support a secure environment.
• Monitor and report any unusual activity or potential threats within the location, following established protocols.
• Interact with members of the public and staff, providing directions or assistance as needed while maintaining a visible presence.
• Document and escalate any security-related incidents or concerns in accordance with company and client procedures.
• Support emergency response activities, including coordination with law enforcement or other first responders as required by site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• A valid law enforcement officer license is required.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
