Security Operations Manager
to oversee and enhance operational performance, ensuring consistency, compliance, and excellence across all security operations.
Position Summary
The Security Operations Manager is a hands-on leader responsible for managing daily security operations across multiple client sites. This strategic role requires strong operational expertise, proven leadership experience, and in-depth knowledge of modern security practices and technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
Develop, implement, and enforce comprehensive security policies, procedures, and standards.
Manage daily operations to ensure efficiency, accountability, and alignment with organizational goals.
Team Management
Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate security personnel to maintain high performance and professionalism.
Promote a culture of teamwork, integrity, and service excellence.
Compliance & Quality Assurance
Ensure compliance with company policies, client contracts, and applicable laws and regulations.
Conduct site inspections and audits to verify operational quality and adherence to standards.
Risk Mitigation & Emergency Response
Identify potential security risks and implement corrective measures.
Oversee access control, surveillance, and emergency response protocols for timely, coordinated action.
Stakeholder Relations
Serve as the primary liaison with clients, law enforcement, and emergency responders.
Build strong client relationships through consistent communication and responsive support.
Reporting & Analytics
Prepare detailed operational, performance, and incident reports.
Analyze trends and data to identify opportunities for operational improvement and cost efficiency.
Technology & Innovation
Stay up-to-date on emerging security technologies and implement solutions to enhance safety, monitoring, and efficiency.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
Minimum 5 years of experience in security management, operations, or a similar leadership role.
Strong knowledge of security protocols, systems, and risk management strategies.
Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills under pressure.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Professional certifications such as CPP, PSP, or equivalent are highly preferred.
