What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the manufacturing and industrial location, including both the business premises and the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or property damage encountered during patrols.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding any incidents or concerns observed during patrols.
• Support access control procedures by monitoring entry and exit points as required by site-specific policies.
• Assist with emergency response activities and follow established protocols for reporting incidents.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
