We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to incidents, and a commitment to loss prevention. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for monitoring premises, enforcing security policies, and ensuring the safety of all individuals on-site.

Responsibilities

Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or other criminal activity. Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, assessing threats and taking appropriate action. Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to ensure the safety of the premises. Enforce security policies and procedures while maintaining a professional demeanor. Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential theft or suspicious behavior. Provide first aid and CPR assistance when necessary, ensuring the well-being of individuals in distress. Document incidents and prepare reports as required for management review. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when needed to address security concerns.

Skills

Proven experience in security roles is preferred. Background in law enforcement or military service is highly regarded. Strong conflict management skills to de-escalate tense situations effectively. Proficient in surveillance techniques and familiar with CCTV operation. Excellent observational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in high-pressure environments.
