As a Security Officer - Government Patrol Entry Point in Brooklyn, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible presence.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related incidents according to established protocols.
• Assist visitors and employees with directions and general inquiries while maintaining a professional demeanor.
• Collaborate with local authorities and Allied Universal management during emergency situations or as directed.
• Complete required reports and documentation accurately and promptly.
• Adhere to all site-specific guidelines and procedures while representing Allied Universal at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid New York State Security Guard License is required.
• Limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets or a rustic guard shack are preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
