As a Security Officer - Retail Front Desk in Chicopee, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a popular retail and entertainment location, you will be the first point of contact for guests and staff, helping to create a welcoming atmosphere while addressing security-related needs. Your role involves monitoring entry points, verifying access, and assisting with visitor inquiries. By maintaining a visible presence and delivering outstanding customer service, you will help to deter incidents and foster a positive environment. What You'll Do:

• Greet and assist guests and visitors at the front desk, providing a welcoming and professional presence at the location.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering the premises to help to deter unauthorized access.
• Maintain awareness of the surrounding area and report any security-related concerns or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner in accordance with Allied Universal procedures and site-specific policies.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting guests with directions and information relevant to the location.
• Maintain accurate and detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and visitor interactions as required by site protocols.
• Collaborate with on-site staff and management to support security-related procedures and emergency response activities when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
