As a Security Officer - Real Estate Patrol Full-Time in Bronx, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more.
As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents. You will maintain a visible presence while interacting with the public and responding to inquiries, delivering exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location and its perimeter, adapting to varying work environments and conditions.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted activity and/or potential security-related incidents.
• Document and communicate observations, incidents, and/or suspicious activities to the appropriate Allied Universal representatives and client contacts as required.
• Assist visitors, tenants, and/or staff with inquiries and directions, upholding a professional and helpful demeanor at all times.
• Support access control procedures and monitor entrances and exits in line with established site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
