As a Security Officer - Patrol Security Clearance in Fort Wayne, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more.
As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by actively patrolling and monitoring assigned areas within an aerospace and defense environment. You will be a visible presence, providing exceptional customer service and communication while responding to incidents as needed. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.
• Monitor for unusual activity and report findings to appropriate personnel or management.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with individuals at the location, including employees, visitors, and contractors.
• Assist with access control by verifying identification and granting entry to authorized persons.
• Document observations, incidents, and activities as required by Allied Universal and site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must possess an active Department of Defense Secret clearance.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
