Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to incidents, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols.

Responsibilities

Monitor premises through regular patrols and surveillance systems, including CCTV. Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, utilizing first aid and CPR skills when necessary. Enforce security policies and procedures to prevent unauthorized access and ensure the safety of all individuals on-site. Conduct thorough inspections of buildings and grounds to identify potential security risks or breaches. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed during incidents or investigations. Manage conflicts effectively while maintaining a calm demeanor in high-pressure situations. Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying suspicious activities and reporting them appropriately.

Requirements

Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred. Knowledge of surveillance systems, including CCTV operation and monitoring. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations. Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable. Excellent observational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Must possess a valid security license or certification as required by local regulations.
