Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play an important role in maintaining a safe and secure campus for our employees, visitors, and assets.

Duties

- Conduct routine patrols of the campus to ensure all buildings and property are properly secured.
- Monitor cameras and alarm systems, investigating alarms or disturbances and taking appropriate action.
- Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences
- Identify safety and security concerns that could be serious in nature and report them to the proper authorities.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent

One year of Security Experience preferred

Must pass a background check

Certification in CPR, First Aid, or related fields is a plus

Familiarity with CCTV systems and surveillance operations is helpful but not required

Strong conflict management skills

Must be reliable and have a strong work ethic

Must be able to work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, from 4p-11a. Hours may vary on days / holidays that the property is not open.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour
