As a Security Officer - - Manufacturing Site Patrol - Full Time in Dunbar, WV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more.
As an unarmed patrol officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents and provide excellent customer service. Your visible presence supports a secure environment for all personnel and visitors. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related concerns, or maintenance issues within the manufacturing and industrial location.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
• Follow all post orders and instructions specific to the location, adapting to changing conditions as needed.
• Assist with access control, verifying credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises as required by site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Experience working in locations with limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets or rustic guard shacks is preferred.
• Experience in loss prevention is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
