As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Patrol in Sterling, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play an important role in helping to deter security-related incidents and supporting the secure environment of a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. You will conduct routine patrols throughout the facility, remain highly visible to promote a sense of security, and provide exceptional customer service to everyone you encounter. Your presence and professionalism will contribute to a welcoming atmosphere, as you communicate clearly and act with integrity. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the facility's operations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, potential hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
• Communicate regularly with Allied Universal management and site personnel regarding security-related concerns or incidents.
• Support access control measures by monitoring entry and exit points as assigned.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports regarding daily activities, incidents, and observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR or first aid certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
