As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Gate Control in Mountain Iron, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more.
As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help create a secure environment. Your role includes conducting regular patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service through strong communication skills. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access to the premises to help to deter unauthorized entry or activity in a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Verify employee, visitor, and vendor credentials in accordance with site-specific policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and perimeter to help to identify security-related concerns or suspicious activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and site guidelines.
• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and addressing inquiries or concerns.
• Assist in emergency response activities as appropriate to the location and according to Allied Universal standards.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
