As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Center - Full Time in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more.
As a Front Desk Security Professional at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, vendors, and employees, providing a welcoming and professional presence. Your role will focus on monitoring access, verifying credentials, and responding to security-related incidents with exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Welcome and assist employees, visitors, and vendors at the front desk, providing excellent customer service in a professional manner.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying identification and managing visitor and contractor logs according to site-specific policies.
• Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific protocols to help to deter unauthorized access or activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established Allied Universal protocols.
• Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and/or site representatives regarding any security-related concerns, incidents, or emergencies.
• Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter unwanted behavior and provide a point of contact for security-related inquiries.
• Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, following site and Allied Universal guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
