As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Access in Mountain Iron, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more.
As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Control access to the location by verifying identification and credentials for employees, visitors, and contractors, following site-specific policies and procedures.
• Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas within the manufacturing and industrial site.
• Provide customer service to all individuals on site by responding to inquiries and assisting with directions as needed.
• Observe and report any irregularities or suspicious activities around the business and perimeter.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established Allied Universal and site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding areas to help to deter potential security-related concerns.
• Maintain accurate logs of visitors, incidents, and daily activities as required by site procedures.
• Support emergency response activities when appropriate, communicating with site personnel and first responders as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
